My grandmother is 81 and lives in Josaly, which is in Kyzylorda oblast. In order to get an interview from her, I had to take a train and,to be honest,I felt as a real journalist who was eager to achieve her aim. Fortunately, I got an interview from my grandma and was very pleased for her participation in this Oral History Project about education. My grandma is modest, honest and very cheerful person. When I gave her an official confirmation letter to sign, she told a joke if I was not going to get her pension =)She is a great example of how life circumstances can impact on people's education. In the interview, she tells about her life and education in the past.
